BDSM is an umbrella term that encompasses countless fetishes, which are often mistakenly identified with abuse. It is very important that the main characteristic of BDSM is the so-called SSC, which means safe, sober, and consensual. In light of this, we have brought some misconceptions about BDSM to help rid this world of taboos. <\/span><\/p>\n

  • Fifty Shades of Grey equals BDSM<\/li>\n

    <\/b><\/p>\n

    The countless taboos that have built up around BDSM are further reinforced by such films. If you are interested in the world of BDSM <\/span>DON’T<\/b> Start with 50 Shades of Grey. Both the movie and the book are more of the opposite of the previously mentioned SSC, so they go against the basic premise of BDSM, so it’s not really <\/span>CANNOT<\/b> be considered a good representation.<\/span><\/p>\n
